Maximilian Schmid is an Associate at Calibore, where he supports the execution of sell-side M&A transactions for founder-led and middle-market businesses. He is involved in financial analysis, preparation of transaction materials, buyer research, and coordination of diligence processes. Prior to joining Calibore, Maximilian founded and operated a specialized design and production business serving the film and entertainment industry. In this role, he led client development, project execution, and budgeting across multiple engagements, gaining hands-on experience in pricing strategy, cost control, and operational execution. He has completed formal training in financial accounting, business analytics, and economics through programs at Harvard Business School Online (CORe), Yale University, and Università Bocconi. Maximilian is also a candidate at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Maximilian is fluent in English and German, with strong command of Spanish and Russian, supporting cross-border communication and international transaction processes.
