Marco Williams
Marco Williams is a senior legal and strategic advisor with decades of experience in international structuring, asset protection, trusts, and cross-border corporate planning. He advises founders, family offices, and business owners on structuring solutions that preserve wealth, manage risk, and support long-term succession and liquidity planning. Mr. Williams is the founding partner of his law firm and has led complex matters across commercial law, arbitration, and estate planning. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior consultant at Patton Boggs LLP in Washington, D.C., one of the largest and most respected U.S. law firms, where he worked on international and cross-border matters involving both private and public-sector stakeholders. In addition to his private-sector experience, Mr. Williams has held senior roles within public institutions across multiple administrations, including serving as Legal Advisor for International Affairs at the Ministry of Health of Panama. This combination of public-sector insight and private advisory experience gives him a uniquely practical perspective on regulatory, jurisdictional, and governance considerations. At Calibore, Mr. Williams advises on international holding structures, trust and estate frameworks, asset-protection strategies, and jurisdictional planning, particularly in cross-border transactions involving Latin America, the U.S., and Europe. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from Georgetown University. He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama and the International Bar Association, a member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, and an honorary member of the National Bar Association of Costa Rica.
